By Air: Fly into Koh Samui Airport or Surat Thani Airport, then take a ferry to Koh Phangan. Koh Samui is closer, with ferries departing more frequently, while Surat Thani offers more budget-friendly options.

By Ferry or speed boat: Boats connect Koh Phangan with Koh Samui, Koh Tao, and the mainland from Surat Thani or Chumphon. The island has two main piers:
Thongsala Pier: The main port, centrally located, ideal for those staying in most areas of the island. It’s well connected with transportation options to all major beaches and attractions.
Haad Rin Pier: Located in the southeast, close to the Full Moon Party beach. This pier is convenient for those staying in Haad Rin but less accessible to the rest of the island.

By Bus and Train: From Bangkok or other cities, you can travel by bus or train to Surat Thani, where ferries to Koh Phangan are available. It’s a longer but more scenic route, offering a budget-friendly alternative.
